WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Toddy Cold Brew System (the one that looks like science, but tastes like summer)
12 oz of San Fran Coffee Highland Blend (coarsely ground, think breadcrumbs, not beach sand)
7 cups of cold, filtered water
A spoon or spatula (for a gentle stir, not a workout)
Patience, this one’s a slow burn
A fridge and 12–24 hours of your life
The Long-Form Version
1. Prep the Gear
Pop the rubber stopper snugly into the bottom of your Toddy brewing container.
Wet the felt filter, and place it inside (flat against the bottom).
If you forget either, congratulations, you’ve invented a very expensive waterfall.
2. Add the Coffee
Pour 6 oz of Highland Blend (half your coffee) into the Toddy.
Add 3 cups of water, making sure to wet all the grounds.
No need to stir just yet — let it sit a minute to bloom (yes, even cold coffee gets its moment).
3. Layer & Pour
Add the remaining 6 oz of coffee, then the last 4 cups of water.
Gently tap or stir with a spoon to make sure all the grounds are saturated.
Don’t go wild — we’re steeping, not making soup.
4. Let Time Do Its Thing
Cover and let it brew 12–24 hours at room temp or in the fridge.
The longer it brews, the stronger (and smoother) it gets.
Perfect time to reflect on your life choices — or binge something good.
5. Filter & Chill
Pull the stopper (over a decanter or pitcher, please).
Let it drain slooowly — about 10–15 minutes.
Do not squeeze the filter unless you enjoy bitter drama.
6. Mix & Serve
You’ve made cold brew concentrate — congrats, you’re officially that person now.
Mix 1 part concentrate to 1 parts water or milk, over ice.
Store the rest in the fridge (lasts about 2 weeks if you don’t drink it all first).
PRO BREWING TIPS (POUR OVER)
It doesn't taste like yours...
Highland Blend = our go-to. Balanced, chocolatey, and made for cold brew greatness.
Not Strong Enough for me...
Want more bite? Brew longer, or don't add so much water once you cut the concentrate. Want it softer? Cut the brew time or add more dilution.
Too Sharp?
Clean your Toddy after every batch — old coffee oils are not “flavor.”
